I started my career as a sales manager in 2007. Where salespeople are usually known for 'pushing', I prefer to listen carefully. What is the partner actually saying? What are their wishes and needs (sometimes even getting to the crux without them even realising)? By sticking to open and honest communication, you will eventually get much closer to the core.
